See STEM in Action

STEM skills pave the way for some of life’s best opportunities. They act as the perfect platform to a socially mobile life. Many young people lack the confidence to pursue these skills into the world of work.

This is why the British Army has developed the STEM Accelerators Project. By aligning STEM with tried and tested personal attribute development, covering leadership, critical thinking, teamwork and perseverance, we aim to support young people to thrive in education, training and their future employment

Every young person deserves to feel confident in STEM.

What is the
STEM Accelerator
Project?

The STEM Accelerators are FREE lesson plans for pupils aged 11 – 14. These lessons, supported by teacher workshops, give pupils the confidence, willpower and resilience to take their knowledge into the world.

They bring the subjects to life in scenarios where those skills are matched against real pressures.

Our mission is to make STEM accessible for all.
